AEM 150 PSIg MAP Brass Sensor Kit, 1/8" NPT Male Thread - 30-2131-150

AEM 150 PSIg Brass Sensor Kit is a pressure sensor designed for use with pressures up to 150 pounds per square inch gauge (psig). The sensor has a brass body and a 1/8 inch NPT male thread for installation. It includes the sensor itself, a connector, and pins.

Brass pressure sensors, like the one in this kit, are commonly used for applications where a general indication of pressure is needed, such as oil pressure, fuel pressure, brake pressure, or nitrous pressure. They are not intended for precise measurements required by Engine Control Units (ECUs) for calibration.

In contrast, stainless steel pressure sensors offer a higher degree of accuracy and are typically used in applications where precise pressure data is critical for ECU function, such as with Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensors.
