Phenolic Spacers

Phenolic spacers are thin discs typically installed between an engine’s cylinder head and intake manifold.  They are made from a phenolic resin composite, which is a material known for its ability to resist heat and wear.  Phenolic spacers help to reduce heat transfer from the cylinder head to the intake manifold, resulting in cooler intake air temperatures. Cooler air is denser air, and denser air can lead to improved engine performance.  When selecting phenolic spacers, consider their thickness, diameter, and thread size to ensure compatibility with your specific application.
