The AWE Tuning Track Edition Exhaust for the Audi B8 S4 3.0T is a performance-oriented exhaust system crafted from T304L stainless steel. It delivers power gains similar to the Touring Edition but with a louder exhaust note, particularly in the mid-range. This is due to the absence of AWE’s sound-cancelling 180 Technology™ rear mufflers found on the Touring Edition. Owners of S-Tronic equipped vehicles should be aware of a potentially amplified exhaust sound at partial throttle settings.

The Track Edition is not returnable due to sound considerations. AWE offers separate Resonated and Non-Resonated Downpipes for further sound customization. Resonated Downpipes provide a mellower sound with larger resonators compared to stock units. Non-Resonated Downpipes are the loudest option within the AWE S4 product line and feature increased tubing diameter. In rare instances, stock downpipes may produce rattling noises when paired with the AWE S4 exhaust system. AWE downpipes eliminate this possibility.
