The K&N 69-8610TTK Typhoon air intake system is a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube air induction system designed for certain Toyota Camry models. It replaces the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing with a K&N Typhoon air intake, which significantly reduces airflow restriction by smoothing and straightening airflow. This allows your engine to inhale more air than the factory air intake, resulting in increased power and acceleration throughout the engine's RPM range. The 69-8610TTK air intake includes a black rubber-topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that fits into the previous air box space and adapts to the fresh air intake scoop. Air is directed through the intake tube into the engine's throttle body, ensuring a guaranteed power gain. The intake tube features a durable black powder-coat finish and accommodates the factory mass air sensor, PWM switching valve assembly, and a replacement silicone crank case vent hose. The oversized cone-shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is required, depending on driving conditions. The K&N cold air intake system, featuring a mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube, guarantees an increase in horsepower and torque. Each system is paired with a washable, reusable High-Flow Air Filter featuring oiled cotton filter media.
