K&N 69 Series Typhoon Short Ram Cold Air Intake-Silver for 07 Mitsubishi Lancer L4-2.0L 69-6544TS

The K&N 69-6544TS Typhoon air intake system is a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube air induction system designed for certain Mitsubishi Lancer models. It replaces the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing with a K&N Typhoon air intake that significantly reduces airflow restriction by smoothing and straightening airflow. This allows your engine to inhale more air than the factory air intake, resulting in increased power and acceleration throughout the engine's RPM range. The 69-6544TS air intake includes a black rubber-topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that fits into the previous air box space. Air is directed through the intake tube into the engine's throttle body, ensuring a guaranteed power gain. The intake tube has a durable silver powder-coated finish and accommodates the factory mass air sensor and a replacement silicone crank case vent hose. The oversized cone-shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is required, depending on driving conditions. The installation process requires several screwdrivers, pliers, a ratchet set, and an Allen wrench.
