K&N 69 Series Typhoon Short Ram Cold Air Intake- Silver for 06-09 Civic Si L4-2.0L 69-1014TS

The K&N 69-1014TS Typhoon air intake system is a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube air induction system designed to fit certain Honda Civic SI models. It replaces the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing with a K&N Typhoon air intake, which is designed to significantly reduce airflow restriction by smoothing and straightening airflow. This allows your engine to inhale more air than the factory air intake, resulting in increased power and acceleration throughout the engine's RPM range. The 69-1014TS air intake includes a black rubber-topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that fits into the previous air box space. Air is directed through the intake tube into the engine's throttle body, ensuring a guaranteed power gain. The intake tube has an attractive silver powder-coated finish and accommodates the factory mass air sensor as well as replacement silicone EVAP canister and crank case breather hoses. The oversized cone-shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is required, depending on driving conditions. The K&N cold air intake system, featuring a mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube, guarantees an increase in horsepower and torque. Each system is paired with a washable, reusable High-Flow Air Filter featuring oiled cotton filter media. The installation process requires a few screwdrivers, pliers, a ratchet set, and two wrenches.
