K&N 69 Series Typhoon Short Ram Cold Air Intake-Silver for 06-09 Honda CivicL4-1.8L 69-1013TS

The K&N 69-1013TS Typhoon air intake system is a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube air induction system designed to fit certain Honda Civic models. It replaces the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing with a K&N Typhoon air intake, which is designed to significantly reduce airflow restriction by smoothing and straightening airflow. This allows your engine to inhale more air than the factory air intake, resulting in increased power and acceleration throughout the engine's RPM range. The 69-1013TS air intake includes a black rubber-topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that fits into the previous air box space. Air is directed through the silver powder-coated intake tube into the engine's throttle body, ensuring a guaranteed power gain. The air intake system accommodates the factory MAF sensor and includes replacement silicone CCV and coolant hoses. The oversized cone-shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is required, depending on driving conditions. The installation process requires a screwdriver, pliers, ratchet set, and a few Allen wrenches. The K&N cold air intake system, featuring a mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube, guarantees an increase in horsepower and torque. Each system is paired with a washable, reusable High-Flow Air Filter featuring oiled cotton filter media.
