K&N 57 Series FIPK Performance Cold Air Intake for 05-06 Ford F-Series Superduty V10-6.8L 57-2567

The K&N 57-2567 FIPK air intake system is a replacement for the factory air filter and air intake housing in certain Ford F250 and F350 models. Designed to reduce intake restriction by smoothing and straightening airflow, this intake allows your engine to inhale more air than the factory assembly, resulting in increased power and acceleration throughout the engine's RPM range. The 57-2567 includes a chrome-topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that fits into the existing air box space. Air is directed through an aerodynamically engineered intake tube to the engine's throttle body, ensuring a power gain. The tube accommodates the factory mass air sensor and crank case vent hose. The oversized cone-shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is required, depending on driving conditions. This intake is relatively easy to install, typically taking 90 minutes or less using existing factory mounting points. Necessary tools include a screwdriver, a ratchet set, and several wrenches.
