The K&N 77-3037KP high-flow performance air intake system is designed for certain Hummer H2 models to enhance airflow and power. It replaces the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing with a free-flowing aluminum tube and a K&N air filter. This improved airflow allows the engine to inhale more air, leading to increased power and acceleration. The intake comes with a chrome-topped filter and a heat shield, directing air to the throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The intake tube has a durable chrome-like finish and accommodates the factory mass air sensor and a replacement silicone crank case vent hose. The oversized cone-shaped air filter can last up to 100,000 miles before servicing. Installation is relatively easy, typically taking 90 minutes or less using existing factory mounting points. The tools needed are a screwdriver, ratchet set, and wrenches.
