AEM Tru-Time Adjustable Camshaft Gears are designed to optimize engine performance for modified vehicles.  They achieve this by allowing for the adjustment of cam timing in one-degree increments. This adjustability is particularly beneficial for engines with modifications such as milling, forced induction, or high compression pistons, as well as those using aftermarket camshafts. AEM Tru-Time camshafts are manufactured from CNC-machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum for strength and durability. The use of precision-cut gear teeth ensures a proper fit with the camshaft belt and minimizes wear. Additionally, AEM employs a proprietary anodizing process that has been laboratory-tested to provide exceptional hardness on the gear teeth.
