AutoMeter DashControl™ is a device that allows drivers to monitor their vehicle's performance data using the existing factory display. Compatible with vehicles equipped with a Driver Information Center (DIC), DashControl™ connects to the OBDII port and retrieves information from the vehicle's data bus. Users can customize the displayed data and its layout on the DIC screen. Importantly, the device does not modify the car's computer systems, making it reversible and warranty-friendly. Installation is straightforward and takes mere seconds.

In addition to displaying data, DashControl™ offers user-defined alerts. Drivers can set thresholds for critical parameters like coolant temperature or oil pressure, and the system will trigger the factory warning chime and display an alert on the DIC if these values are exceeded. The intuitive configuration software facilitates easy customization of the alerts and displayed data. For parameters not readily available on the vehicle's data bus, DashControl™ can be expanded with up to two additional analog inputs.
