AutoMeter DashControl™ is a performance monitoring system that utilizes a vehicle's existing Driver Information Center (DIC) display. Compatible with certain vehicles, DashControl™ retrieves data from the vehicle's data bus through the OBDII port and allows for customization of the displayed information.  This system offers an easy to install, non-invasive solution for monitoring vehicle performance without modifying the vehicle's computer systems.

DashControl™ also provides user-defined alerts. The system can trigger the factory warning chime and display an alert on the DIC based on user-defined thresholds for parameters such as water temperature or oil pressure. An intuitive configuration software simplifies customization, and the system can be expanded to include up to two additional analog inputs for monitoring parameters not available on the vehicle's data bus.
