The K&N 57-3062 FIPK air intake system is designed to enhance your vehicle's performance by replacing the restrictive factory air filter and air intake. By smoothing and straightening airflow, K&N intakes allow your engine to inhale a larger volume of air, resulting in increased power and acceleration throughout the RPM range. The 57-3062 air intake includes a black rubber-topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield, which installs into the previous air box space. Air is directed through an aerodynamically engineered intake tube to the engine's throttle body, ensuring a guaranteed power gain. The tube accommodates the factory mass air sensor and air injection hose, while the oversized cone-shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing, depending on driving conditions. The system is designed for easy installation using common tools like a screwdriver, pliers, ratchet set, and wrenches. K&N 57 Series FIPK's are street legal in all 50 US states and come with K&N's Million Mile Limited Warranty. The high-density polyethylene (HDPE) rotationally-molded tube increases airflow volume to the engine, providing a guaranteed increase in horsepower and torque. The washable, reusable High-Flow Air Filter™ features oiled cotton filter media and an oversized, conical design, allowing for up to 100,000 miles between filter services under normal highway driving conditions. A custom heat shield protects intake air from the high temperature of the engine bay, and the entire system can typically be installed in less than 60 minutes.
