K&N Series FIPK Cold Air Intake - High-flow, for 06 Chevy Trailblazer SS V8-6.0L 57-3061

The K&N 57-3061 FIPK air intake system is a replacement for the factory air filter and air intake housing in certain Chevrolet Trailblazer models. Designed to reduce intake restriction and improve airflow, this system allows the Trailblazer's engine to inhale more air, leading to increased power and acceleration. The 57-3061 intake includes a high-flow air filter and a heat shield, directing air past the mass air sensor and into the engine's throttle body. The oversized air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing and is street legal in all 50 US states. A high-density polyethylene tube increases airflow and provides a guaranteed increase in horsepower and torque. The washable, reusable air filter features oiled cotton filter media and can go up to 100,000 miles between services under normal highway driving conditions. A custom heat shield protects intake air from engine heat, and the entire system can typically be installed in under 60 minutes. However, some intakes may not be legal for sale or use in California.
