K&N 57 Series FIPK Cold Air Intake - High-flow, for 05 Dodge Magnum / Chrysler 300 V6-3.5L 57-1543

The K&N 57-1543 FIPK air intake system is a replacement for the factory air filter and air intake housing, designed to significantly reduce intake restriction and increase airflow. This allows the engine to inhale more air, leading to increased power and acceleration throughout the RPM range. The 57-1543 includes a chrome-topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield, directing air through an aerodynamic intake tube into the engine's throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The tube accommodates the factory air temperature sensor, and the oversized cone-shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing, depending on driving conditions. The air intake is relatively easy to install, typically taking 90 minutes or less using existing factory mounting points. A high-density polyethylene (HDPE) rotationally-molded tube helps increase airflow volume, providing a guaranteed increase in horsepower and torque. The washable, reusable High-Flow Air Filter features oiled cotton filter media, and its oversized, conical design allows for up to 100,000 miles between filter services under normal highway driving conditions.
