K&N 57 Series FIPK Performance Cold Air Intake - High-flow for 04-07 Jeep Liberty V6-3.7L 57-1540

The K&N 57-1540 FIPK air intake system is a replacement for the factory air filter and air intake housing in certain Jeep Liberty models. Designed to significantly reduce intake restrictions by smoothing and straightening airflow, this intake system allows your Liberty's engine to inhale a larger volume of air than the factory assembly. This increased airflow translates to more usable power and acceleration across the engine's RPM range. The 57-1540 air intake includes a chrome-topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that fits into the existing air box space. Air is channeled through an aerodynamically engineered intake tube to the engine's throttle body, resulting in a guaranteed power gain. The tube accommodates the factory air temperature sensor and crankcase vent hose. The oversized cone-shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before requiring service, depending on driving conditions. This air intake is relatively easy to install, typically taking 90 minutes or less using the existing factory mounting points.
