K&N 57 Series FIPK Performance Cold Air Intake for 04-06 Dodge Durango V8-5.7L 57-1539

The K&N 57-1539 FIPK air intake system is a replacement for the factory air filter and air intake housing. It is designed to reduce intake restriction by smoothing and straightening airflow, allowing the engine to inhale more air than the factory assembly. This results in increased power and acceleration throughout the engine's RPM range. The intake includes a chrome-topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield. Air is directed through an aerodynamically engineered intake tube into the engine's throttle body, accommodating the factory air temperature sensor and crankcase vent hose. The oversized cone-shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing. Installation is relatively easy, typically taking 90 minutes or less using existing factory mounting points.
