The K&N 57-1535 FIPK air intake system is a replacement for the standard air filter and intake housing in select Dodge Neon SRT-4 models. Designed to enhance airflow and reduce restrictions, the K&N intake allows the engine to draw in more air than the factory system, resulting in increased power and acceleration across the RPM range. The 57-1535 includes a high-flow air filter made from lightweight carbon fiber and a heat shield that fits into the original air box space. Air is channeled through an aerodynamic tube to the throttle body, ensuring a noticeable power increase. The tube accommodates the factory air temperature sensor, intake vent hose, and crankcase vent hose. The oversized cone filter can last up to 100,000 miles before requiring servicing, depending on driving conditions. Installation is relatively straightforward, typically taking 90 minutes or less using existing factory mounting points. The necessary tools include a screwdriver, ratchet set, and several wrenches. K&N 57 Series FIPK intakes are street legal in all 50 US states and are backed by K&N's Million Mile Limited Warranty.
