The AEM 22-506P Performance Short Ram Air Intake System is designed to increase engine horsepower and torque for specific Acura RSX Type-S models. It replaces the stock air filter and intake housing with a high-performance system that features an AEM Dryflow air filter for improved airflow and filtration. This washable filter can last up to 100,000 miles before cleaning depending on driving conditions. The intake tube is made from mandrel-bent aluminum and designed to integrate with the car's emissions control components.  The system offers a more aggressive engine sound and is easy to install using common tools.
