Banks Power BigHead wastegate actuator is designed to address limitations of stock wastegate actuators in turbocharged engines. Stock actuators can open prematurely under high exhaust pressure, reducing mid-range torque and overall power. The BigHead actuator features a larger diaphragm and increased spring pressure to keep the wastegate valve closed at higher boost levels. This allows for quicker boost build-up and maintains peak boost for improved acceleration and mid-range power delivery. It is important to note that the BigHead actuator is not compatible with 04.5-07 Cummins 325/600 engines.
