Banks Power BigHead Wastegate Actuator is designed to address limitations of stock actuators in turbocharged engines. Stock actuators can open prematurely under high exhaust pressure, reducing engine performance in the mid-range. The BigHead Wastegate Actuator features a larger diaphragm and increased spring pressure compared to stock. This allows the valve to remain closed at higher pressures, resulting in increased boost pressure and improved mid-range torque. Additionally, the BigHead Actuator is designed to precisely control wastegate opening at peak boost for optimal performance. It is important to note that this actuator is not compatible with 04.5-07 Cummins 325/600 engines.
