ARB Old Man Emu's BP-51 shock absorbers are designed to deliver exceptional on and off-road performance. These large-diameter, position-sensitive bypass shocks with remote reservoirs are built and tested in Australia to withstand demanding conditions.  They are designed to be installed on a vehicle without modification and offer a balance between comfortable around-town ride quality and significant control during off-road driving.  The damping performance can be adjusted to suit the specific driving conditions and vehicle setup. BP-51 shock absorbers are made from high-quality materials, including 6061 T6 aluminum for the body, reservoir, and components, with a hard anodized finish for heat dissipation, corrosion resistance, and stone damage protection. Designed, developed, and manufactured entirely by ARB, BP-51 shock absorbers leverage ARB's engineering expertise and commitment to quality control.
