Pedal Commander Nissan Titan/Xterra/NP300/Navara Throttle Controller tackles the delay by enhancing throttle response. The Pedal Commander Throttle Response Controller improves your driving experience, while also reducing your environmental impact. Most modern vehicles use Electronic Throttle Control, meaning that the accelerator is powered by electronics and the car's computer, rather than a cable. This can create a lag between your foot pressing the accelerator and the vehicle responding, as the electronic throttle is slower to respond than a traditional cable.
The Pedal Commander solves this problem by connecting to the "Engine Control Unit" system at the Pedal Position Sensors, bypassing some of the checks that the engine computer would normally make. This results in faster throttle response times, allowing drivers to eliminate any delay from their accelerator. The Pedal Commander also gives drivers full control over the gas pedal sensitivity, with 4 different modes and 36 preset levels to choose from. This means that you can customize your vehicle's response to your exact driving style, giving you a more enjoyable and personalized driving experience.
Pedal Commander solves this problem by connecting in line with the "Engine Control Unit" system at the Pedal Position Sensors and designing to take the information at the PPS and compile it in a high-speed control circuit. It also slightly advances that number and sends it directly to the ECU. By sending the information to the computer this way, a couple of checks that the engine computer will make can be bypassed before sending the signal to open the throttle plate. This gives you the ability to eliminate the delay from your accelerator, allowing your engine to respond faster. As a result, your gas pedal becomes more sensitive for a sportier or an old-school feel.
