Banks Power's Monster-Ram is a direct-replacement aluminum intake manifold designed to improve airflow from the intercooler. It achieves a significant increase in airflow (72.7 lbs/min MAF) compared to the stock option (38.6 lbs/min MAF) when used with Banks’ High-Flow Heater and Billet Intake Plate. This improved airflow results in increased boost without creating backpressure, leading to a more responsive and efficient engine.

The Monster-Ram system utilizes computational fluid-dynamics (CFD) for design and undergoes testing on flow benches, dynamometers, and real-world applications. It replaces the restrictive factory inlet elbow with a larger, streamlined design to allow for unobstructed airflow.  The Banks High-Flow Heater and Billet Intake Plate further enhance performance by removing obstructions in the airflow path.

Monster-Ram includes four NPT ports for temperature and pressure sensors, enabling data acquisition for further performance analysis.
