Banks Power Ram-Air Cold-Air Intake System is designed for 2001-2004 Chevy/GMC 6.6L LB7 engines. Unlike some competitors, Banks utilizes computer-aided design (CAD) software and flow simulations to optimize the intake's design before creating a physical prototype. This prototype undergoes rigorous testing on a flowbench, dynamometer, and actual vehicles to ensure superior performance. The enclosed airbox houses a large filter that draws in cool, dense outside air, resulting in increased power, improved fuel mileage, lower exhaust gas temperatures, and reduced smoke emission compared to both stock and competitor intakes. An exclusive bellows feature accommodates engine movement and protects components, extending the lifespan of the system. An optional high-flow Super-Scoop is also available.
