Shaft Collars

Shaft collars are ring-shaped devices used to secure components on a shaft. They provide a precise and reliable solution for a wide range of applications, including holding pulleys, gears, and sprockets in place, as well as serving as a drive shaft locking device or a shaft support. Their simple yet effective design allows for easy installation and adjustment, making them an essential component in many mechanical systems.

There are several types of shaft collars available, each designed for specific needs. Set screw shaft collars use a threaded screw to exert pressure on the shaft, providing a secure hold. For applications requiring a non-marring solution, shaft clamp collars use an even clamping force to prevent damage to the shaft. Two piece shaft collars are another popular option, as they can be installed and removed without having to disassemble the components on the end of the shaft. Additionally, some shaft collars can be used as a rigid shaft coupling to connect two shafts together.
