Red Line GL-5 gear oil is formulated for superior protection and improved differential efficiency. It offers excellent lubrication, a high viscosity index, and the ability to lower operating temperatures. This gear oil surpasses API GL-5 specifications.

This gear oil is suitable for both conventional and limited-slip differentials. It contains friction modifiers for enhanced performance in limited-slip differentials while maintaining excellent performance in conventional differentials without requiring additional modifiers. Additionally, it offers improved copper corrosion protection to extend synchronizer life.

Red Line GL-5 gear oil is compatible with a wide range of applications, including transmissions, transaxles found in Ferrari, Porsche, and Subaru, muscle car transmissions, and racing applications requiring maximum lockup. It is recommended for API GL-5, GL-6, MT-1, MIL-L-2105E and SAE J2360 applications and is formulated to be non-corrosive and safe for use with all synchronizer materials.
