Banks Power offers replacement boost tubes for the 6.7L Cummins engine. These tubes are constructed from mandrel-bent, aluminized steel and are larger in diameter than the factory pipes. This increased diameter improves airflow and allows for quicker turbocharger spool-up. The cold side tube boasts a 67% greater flow area compared to the stock unit.The tubes are designed to work with the stock intercooler or aftermarket intercoolers that retain the stock inlet and outlet sizes and locations. A powder-coated finish (which stops before the end for coupler grip) and spring-loaded clamps ensure a secure connection under high-boost conditions. These Banks boost tubes are suitable for applications demanding increased performance and lower exhaust gas temperatures (EGTs).
