The ColdFront™ Intercooler features cast aluminum end tanks with internal baffling and a bar/plate aluminum core. This design significantly increases the intercooler’s surface area (130% more than the stock B9 SQ5 intercooler) and volume (83% more) for improved heat transfer. The ColdFront™ Intercooler effectively mitigates heat-related problems regardless of whether a vehicle produces factory-spec or higher boost levels. It maintains low intake air temperatures and minimizes pressure drop, ensuring consistent engine output even in hot environments. The intercooler installs without requiring any cutting and utilizes the stock intercooler hoses and clamps.
