The Banks PowerTechni-Cooler Intercooler System features larger components compared to the stock intercooler. It incorporates mandrel-bent 3.5-inch high-flow boost tubes, larger and more efficient all-aluminum end tanks, wider inlet and outlet openings, and a 20% thicker core with a 27% increase in volume. Additionally, a Monster-Ram intake manifold is included.

This system enhances cooling capacity by enabling a richer fuel mixture to be balanced with increased airflow and cooler, denser air. Denser air allows for more oxygen, leading to improved combustion and engine efficiency. The result is increased continuous power output, improved power delivery at any exhaust gas temperature, better fuel economy, and lower exhaust gas temperatures. The Banks Techni-Cooler achieves maximum boost air temperature reduction with minimal loss of boost pressure.
