Red Line LightWeight ShockProof Gear Oil is formulated for racing transmissions and differentials encountering significant stress (not suitable for most synchronized transmissions). It offers exceptional low-temperature fluidity, improving cold-weather shifting. This lubricant can be used in racing differentials with moderate temperatures to achieve maximum power transfer. Its viscosity is comparable to a 75W140 gear oil, but with lower internal friction similar to an SAE 30 motor oil. Applications include transmissions for both 2-stroke and 4-stroke motocross engines (often mixed equally with SuperLight ShockProof) and various road-racing differentials with moderate power, as well as dog-ring racing transmissions.
