AutoMeter Transmission Temperature Gauge is designed to measure the temperature of your automatic transmission fluid. Monitoring transmission fluid temperature is important because it is a significant factor in the lifespan of your transmission. By having an accurate and real-time temperature reading, you can make informed decisions about driving habits, such as downshifting or reducing acceleration, to help preserve your transmission. This gauge is suitable for various applications,  including towing or using a high-performance engine. The included single wire 1/8” NPT temperature sender can be installed in the transmission itself, the transmission pan, or even the cooler line with an optional manifold (sold separately). This versatility allows for ease of installation in different vehicle configurations.
