AutoMeter Digital Fuel Level Gauge simplifies matching a fuel gauge to a vehicle's fuel tank sensor. It offers a user-friendly configuration process. Seven pre-programmed settings for common fuel tank sensor resistances are included. For less common sensors, a custom calibration mode allows compatibility with any sending unit between 0 and 280 ohms. This mode simply requires the user to record the sensor readings at empty and full tank states. The gauge then displays the remaining fuel level as a percentage (0-100%). This eliminates the complexity of finding a compatible gauge and ensures accurate fuel level monitoring. The product also includes a direct plug-in wiring harness for straightforward installation.
