Red Line synthetic non-slip CVT automatic transmission oil is formulated for metal belt-type continuously variable transmissions (CVTs) found in vehicles like Daihatsu, Nissan, and Subaru. It offers superior low-temperature performance for smooth shifting and improved thermal stability compared to conventional petroleum-based automatic transmission fluids (ATFs). This enhanced stability allows the oil to withstand high operating temperatures without degrading or varnishing valves and clutches, which can lead to transmission failure. Red Line's non-slip CVT fluid also contains anti-wear additives to protect metal-to-metal contact points within the torque converter clutch and maintains consistent performance across a wide range of temperatures. The synthetic base stocks contribute to improved shear resistance, extended drain intervals (up to 30,000 miles, following manufacturer recommendations), and overall transmission health.
