Red Line Assembly Lube is formulated to reduce wear during engine assembly. Applied beforehand on potential wear surfaces, it creates a protective layer to prevent metal-to-metal contact before proper lubrication is established. Unlike other assembly lubes, Red Line's product won't clog filters after the initial engine start-up. It provides superior film strength compared to conventional Molybdenum Disulfide greases and offers excellent corrosion protection during storage of engine parts. It is important to note that this lubricant is not suitable for exhaust bolts or other high-temperature fasteners requiring anti-seize properties. Notably, Red Line Assembly Lube is preferred by leading camshaft and drivetrain manufacturers.
