Downpipes are performance parts that channel exhaust fumes from the turbocharger or manifold to the mid-pipe or cat-back exhaust system. Replacing restrictive stock downpipes with high-flow downpipes improves exhaust gas flow, reducing turbo lag and enhancing horsepower and torque. When selecting downpipes, consider their diameter, material (cast iron, stainless steel), and whether they include catalytic converters.
