ARB Air Locker is a pneumatic differential locking system designed to enhance a vehicle's traction in challenging off-road conditions. Unlike a conventional open differential, which allows the wheels on the same axle to spin independently, ARB Air Locker locks the differential gears together upon driver activation using a switch. This forces both wheels to rotate at the same speed, maximizing traction and minimizing wheel slip.  When unlocked, the Air Locker functions like a standard differential for normal driving conditions. This system allows drivers to navigate difficult terrain at lower speeds with greater control, potentially reducing vehicle damage and environmental impact.
