The K&N 69-2527TTR Typhoon air intake system is a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube air induction system designed

for certain Dodge Viper models. It replaces the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing with a K&N Typhoon air intake, which significantly reduces airflow restriction by smoothing and straightening airflow. This allows your engine to inhale more air than the factory air intake, resulting in increased power and acceleration throughout the engine's RPM range. The 69-2527TTR air intake includes a pair of chrome-topped K&N high-flow air filters and a heat shield that fits into the previous air box space. Air is directed through the intake tubes into the engine's throttle bodies, ensuring a guaranteed power gain. The intake tubes feature an attractive red powder-coated finish and accommodate the factory mass air sensors and crankcase vent hoses. The oversized cone-shaped air filters are equipped with water-repellent DryCharger filter wraps to protect them from moisture. These air filters can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is required, depending on driving conditions. Each system is paired with a washable, reusable High-Flow Air Filter featuring oiled cotton filter media. Please note that some Typhoon air intakes may not be legal for sale or use in California and other states adopting California emission standards, while others are CARB exempt and 50 state legal.
