K&N 63 Series Aircharger Performance Cold Air Intake for 07-09 Ford Mustang GT V8-4.6L 63-2565

The K&N AirCharger 63-2565 air intake system is designed to replace the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing in certain Ford Mustang models. K&N intakes significantly reduce intake restriction by smoothing and straightening airflow, allowing your Mustang's engine to inhale more air than the factory air filter assembly. This results in increased power and acceleration throughout the engine's RPM range. The 63-2565 air intake includes a chrome-topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that fits into the previous air box space, directing cooler, denser air through a custom molded intake tube into the engine's throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. A high-density polyethylene (HDPE) rotationally-molded tube increases airflow volume to your engine, ensuring a guaranteed increase in horsepower and torque. These systems are paired with a washable, reusable High-Flow Air Filter featuring oiled cotton filter media. The oversized air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is required, depending on driving conditions. Installation is relatively easy, requiring only a screwdriver, socket set, pliers, and several wrenches. A custom heat shield protects intake air from the high temperature of your engine bay, and the entire system can typically be installed in under 60 minutes. Please note that this air intake cannot be sold in California and is not legal for use in California or other states adopting California emission standards.
