K&N 63 Series Aircharger High Performance Cold Air Intake - 07-08 Toyota FJ Cruiser V6 4.0L 63-9030

The K&N AirCharger 63-9030 air intake system is designed to replace the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing in certain Toyota FJ Cruiser models. K&N intakes are engineered to significantly reduce intake restriction by smoothing and straightening airflow, allowing your FJ Cruiser's engine to inhale more air than the factory air filter assembly. This results in increased power and acceleration throughout the engine's RPM range. The 63-9030 air intake includes a chrome-topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that fits into the previous air box space. This allows cooler, denser air to be directed through a custom-molded intake tube into the engine's throttle body, ensuring a guaranteed power gain. The oversized air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is required, depending on driving conditions. Each system is paired with a washable, reusable High-Flow Air Filter featuring oiled cotton filter media. The oversized, conical design allows for up to 100,000 miles between filter services under normal highway driving conditions. A custom heat shield helps protect intake air from the high temperature of your engine bay. This air intake is relatively easy to install and requires only a screwdriver, pliers, socket set, and several wrenches. Please note that this air intake cannot be sold in California and is not legal for use in California or other states adopting California emission standards.
