The K&N 69-7082TS Typhoon air intake system is a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube air induction system designed for certain Infiniti G35 models. It replaces the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing with a K&N Typhoon air intake, which significantly reduces airflow restriction by smoothing and straightening airflow. This allows your engine to inhale more air than the factory air intake, resulting in increased power and acceleration throughout the engine's RPM range. The 69-7082TS air intake includes dual black rubber-topped K&N high-flow air filters and heat shields that fit into the previous air box spaces. Air is directed through the intake tubes into the engine's throttle body, ensuring a guaranteed power gain. The intake tubes feature an attractive silver powder-coated finish and accommodate the factory mass air sensors and crank case vent hoses. The K&N cold air intake system, featuring a mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube, guarantees an increase in horsepower and torque. Each system is paired with a washable, reusable High-Flow Air Filter featuring oiled cotton filter media. The oversized cone-shaped air filters can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is required, depending on driving conditions.
