The K&N 71-3058 Blackhawk Induction Air Intake System is a free-flowing, mandrel-bent aluminum tube air intake designed to enhance power output. It replaces the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing, allowing your engine to inhale more air than the stock air intake. This increased airflow results in improved power and acceleration. The K&N Blackhawk Induction Air Intake System features black components, including a high-flow air filter and heat shield. The attractive textured black powder-coated tube with an engraved K&N plate provides a clean, high-performance look under the hood. The intake tube accommodates the factory mass air sensor, air temperature sensor, and crankcase vent hose. The layered DRYFLOW synthetic filter offers increased airflow and exceptional engine protection without requiring oil, while a steel heat shield safeguards intake air from engine bay heat. The oversized cone-shaped air filter, made from oil-free synthetic filter media, can be used for up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is necessary, depending on driving conditions. Installation is relatively straightforward, typically taking 90 minutes or less using existing factory mounting points and common tools.
