K&N 63 Series Aircharger Cold Air Intake- High-flow for 06 Pontiac GTO V8-6.0L 63-3053

The K&N AirCharger 63-3053 air intake system is designed to enhance the performance of Pontiac GTO models by replacing the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing. By smoothing and straightening airflow, this intake system allows the engine to inhale a larger volume of air, resulting in increased power and acceleration throughout the RPM range. The 63-3053 air intake includes a chrome-topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield, which directs air through a custom-molded intake tube into the engine's throttle body for a guaranteed power gain. The oversized air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing is required, depending on driving conditions. Installation is relatively straightforward, requiring only basic tools. The system features a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) rotationally-molded tube to increase airflow volume and a washable, reusable High-Flow Air Filter™ for extended service intervals. A custom heat shield protects intake air from engine heat, and the entire system can typically be installed in under an hour. Please note that this air intake is not legal for use in California or other states adopting California emission standards.
