The K&N 57-1545 FIPK air intake system is a replacement for the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing in certain Jeep Grand Cherokee and Commander models. Designed to significantly reduce intake restriction, the K&N intake system enhances airflow to the engine, resulting in increased power and acceleration throughout the RPM range. The 57-1545 air intake includes a chrome-topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield, directing air through an aerodynamically engineered intake tube to the engine's throttle body for guaranteed power gains. The system accommodates factory vacuum lines and features an oversized cone-shaped air filter that can last up to 100,000 miles before requiring servicing. Relatively easy to install within 90 minutes using existing factory mounting points and common tools, the K&N 57 Series FIPK is street legal in all 50 US states and comes with a Million Mile Limited Warranty. A high-density polyethylene (HDPE) tube increases airflow volume, leading to guaranteed increases in horsepower and torque. Paired with a washable, reusable High-Flow Air Filter, the oversized conical design allows for extended filter service intervals of up to 100,000 miles under normal highway driving conditions.
