K&N 57 Series FIPK Performance Cold Air Intake for 04 Ford Ranger / Mazda B4000 V6-4.0L 57-2561

The K&N 57-2561 FIPK air intake system is a replacement for the factory air filter and air intake housing, designed to enhance airflow and power output. By reducing intake restriction and smoothing airflow, the K&N intake allows the engine to inhale more air, leading to increased power and acceleration throughout the RPM range. The 57-2561 air intake includes a black rubber-topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield, directing air through an aerodynamically engineered intake tube to the engine's throttle body for guaranteed power gains. The tube accommodates the factory mass air sensor and a replacement silicone crank case vent hose. The oversized air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing, depending on driving conditions. The installation is relatively straightforward, taking approximately 90 minutes or less using existing factory mounting points and common tools like a screwdriver, socket set, and 10 millimeter wrench.
