K&N Performance Cold Air Intake - High-flow for 04 Cadillac CTS V6-3.6L DOHC 57-3042

The K&N 57-3042 FIPK air intake system is a replacement for the factory air filter and air intake housing in certain Cadillac CTS models. Designed to significantly reduce intake restrictions by smoothing and straightening airflow, this system allows the CTS engine to inhale a larger volume of air than the stock assembly. This increased airflow translates to more usable power and acceleration across the engine's RPM range. The 57-3042 air intake includes a chrome-topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that fits into the existing air box space. Air is directed past the mass air sensor, through an aerodynamically engineered intake tube, and into the engine's throttle body, resulting in a guaranteed power gain. The tube accommodates the crankcase vent hose. The oversized air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before requiring servicing, depending on driving conditions. Installation is relatively straightforward, typically taking 90 minutes or less, utilizing the existing factory mounting points.
