K&N 69-0021TB Typhoon cold-air intake system is a free-flowing aluminum tube air induction system designed for Acura TL models. It replaces the factory air filter and intake housing, drawing in cooler air and reducing air flow restriction. This allows for increased air intake, leading to more power and acceleration. The system includes a black rubber topped K&N high-flow air filter that captures cooler air from the outside. Air is then directed through the cold air tube and into the engine's throttle body, resulting in a guaranteed power gain. The aluminum tubes have a blue powder-coat finish and accommodate the factory crank case vent hose. The oversized cone-shaped air filter features a water repellent DryCharger filter wrap and can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing. Installation is relatively easy, requiring a screwdriver, ratchet set, and pliers.
