K&N 57 Series FIPK Performance Cold Air Intake - High-flow, for 04-05 Cadillac CTS-V V8-5.7L 57-3054

The K&N 57-3054 FIPK air intake system is a replacement for the factory air filter and air intake housing in certain Cadillac CTS-V models. Designed to reduce intake restriction and increase airflow, this intake allows the engine to inhale more air than the stock assembly. This increased airflow results in more power and acceleration across the engine's RPM range. The 57-3054 includes a chrome-topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that fits into the existing air box space. Air is directed past the factory mass air sensor through an aerodynamically engineered intake tube to the engine's throttle body, ensuring a power gain. The oversized cone-shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before servicing, depending on driving conditions. Installation is relatively easy, typically taking 90 minutes or less using existing factory mounting points. Required tools include a screwdriver, a ratchet set, and a few wrenches. A high-density polyethylene (HDPE) rotationally-molded tube increases airflow to the engine, resulting in guaranteed increases in horsepower and torque. The systems are paired with a washable, reusable High-Flow Air Filter featuring oiled cotton filter media. The oversized, conical design allows for up to 100,000 miles between filter services under normal highway driving conditions.
