K&N Performance Cold Air Intake - High-flow for 03-07 Hummer H2 V8-6.0L 57-3037

K&N 57-3037 FIPK air intake system is designed to replace the factory air filter and air intake housing in certain Hummer H2 models. The intake is engineered to reduce intake restriction by smoothing and straightening airflow, allowing the engine to inhale a larger amount of air than the stock assembly. This increased airflow results in more usable power and acceleration throughout the engine's RPM range. The 57-3037 includes a carbon fiber topped K&N high-flow air filter and a heat shield that fits into the original air box space. Air is directed past the mass air sensor and through an aerodynamically engineered intake tube into the engine's throttle body, ensuring a noticeable power gain. The oversized, oval tapered cone-shaped air filter can be used for up to 100,000 miles before requiring servicing, depending on driving conditions. Installation is relatively straightforward, typically taking 90 minutes or less using existing factory mounting points. Necessary tools include a screwdriver, socket set, and several wrenches.
