The K&N 57-1536 FIPK air intake system is a replacement for the factory air filter and air intake housing in certain Dodge Viper V10 models. Designed to significantly decrease intake restriction by streamlining and straightening airflow, K&N intakes enable your engine to draw in more air than the stock assembly. This increased airflow translates to more usable power and acceleration across the engine's RPM range. The 57-1536 air intake includes dual K&N XStream Top air filters, engineered for enhanced airflow and durability. Air is channeled through the intake tubes to the engine's throttle body, resulting in a guaranteed power boost. The tubes are compatible with the factory air temperature sensor and crankcase vent hose. The oversized cylindrical air filters can be used for up to 100,000 miles before requiring servicing, contingent on driving conditions. This air intake is relatively easy to install, typically taking 90 minutes or less, utilizing existing factory mounting points. A few screwdrivers and pliers are the necessary tools.
